Franklin & Sons is the British mixer house founded in 1886 in Rickmansworth (London) by the Franklin brothers —Frederick, Albert and George—, who started out bottling mineral waters and flavoured sodas from a confectioner’s shop. In 1895 they travelled to India expressly to taste and bring back ginger, the journey behind the name of their flagship tonic and of their Ginger Beer, their best-selling product since 1905. The brand ceased trading in 1989 and was revived in 2015 by Global Brands, keeping its commitment to natural ingredients and British-made product. 1886 Soda Water is the house’s neutral mixer: the highest carbonation in their range over water of the finest quality, built never to compete with the spirit. 200 ml single-serve format.
