Franklin & Sons is the British mixer house founded in 1886 in Rickmansworth (London) by the Franklin brothers —Frederick, Albert and George—, who started out bottling mineral waters and flavoured sodas from a confectioner’s shop. In 1895 they travelled to India expressly to taste and bring back ginger, the journey behind the name of their flagship tonic and of their Ginger Beer, their best-selling product since 1905. The brand ceased trading in 1989 and was revived in 2015 by Global Brands, keeping its commitment to natural ingredients and British-made product. Natural India Water is how Destilo distributes their Premium Indian Tonic Water, the house’s flagship tonic: carbonated water with cinchona bark extract, vibrant citrus notes and English sugar beet. A 200 ml single-serve format sized for exactly one gin and tonic — nothing left over, nothing missing.
