Ideal is the flagship hazy IPA from DosKiwis Brewing, a craft brewery conceived in 2016 and operating since 2019 in Rupià (Baix Empordà, Girona). Formerly known as Sometimes Always, it is brewed with a combination of Mosaic, Simcoe and Citra hops that give it its juicy, tropical character.
Silky, intense and gently sweet, yet remarkably easy to drink. Aromas of tropical fruit and citrus give way to juicy flavours of peach, melon and candied orange over a soft body, with a touch of closing bitterness that lingers pleasantly.
Pairs with green Thai curry, tacos al pastor or blue cheeses that can stand up to its fruity sweetness. Its silky body also makes it an intriguing beer alternative to a full-bodied white in pairing menus. Serve chilled (4–6 °C) in a tulip glass or wide goblet to concentrate its tropical aromas.
